Placing & moving furniture

Furniture can be dragged freely across the plan. The editor helps with:

• Grid snapping — the furniture box snaps to the grid lines (grid size in the settings).
• Neighbour snapping — edges and centres of nearby furniture attract; red lines show the alignment.
• Axis lock — hold Shift while dragging to move only horizontally or vertically; a dark blue line shows the locked axis. Measurements support it too.

For exact distances, use the arrow keys: each press moves the selection by exactly 1 cm, or 10 cm with Shift. Hold a key and it keeps moving. Unlike dragging, nothing snaps — the step is simply added, so 10.54 cm becomes 11.54 cm. Room boundaries still apply: a selection stops at the wall as one block.
